Paper jam fault one

Phenomenon: When multiple paper strips enter the folding machine, the paper will drift and cannot guarantee good vertical folding accuracy. In severe cases, when the paper is folded vertically and enters the folding machine, the size may even exceed the cutting size of the folding machine, resulting in continuous newspaper cutting and causing paper congestion.

This phenomenon is mainly caused by the pressure imbalance between the left and right or upper and lower pairs of paper clamping rollers.

Solution: Adjust the pressure of the paper clip roller. When adjusting, the pressure of the lower pair of paper clamping rollers is slightly higher than that of the upper pair of paper clamping rollers.

Paper Jam Fault 2

Phenomenon: In some finished newspapers, there are creases in the cutting position. In severe cases, the newspaper continues to be cut and the folding fails. After stuffing the paper, the waste paper taken out from the impeller is basically connected together.

This is mainly caused by the aging of the newspaper cutting blade or the unevenness of the left and right sides, or it may be due to the aging of the newspaper cutting plastic strip on the transfer roller.

Solution: Pay attention to changes in newspaper incisions in daily life, regularly maintain the cutting blade, and patiently adjust it when replacing it, paying attention to its high and low positions.

Paper Jam Fault Three

Phenomenon: The newspaper stuck at the impeller is damaged, and there is usually a situation where only half of the newspaper is damaged, and the break is not neat.

This is due to the instability of the newspaper's instantaneous position when the feeding blade of the folding drum folds the newspaper horizontally and transfers it to the folding drum, resulting in the failure of the horizontal folding and the paper being stuffed at the impeller.

Solution: Adjust the rectangular flat brush below the page roller. When the brush is excessively worn and the newspaper at the outlet is skewed to one side, it is necessary to replace the brush in a timely manner.

Paper jam fault four

Phenomenon: There is no break in the newspaper stuck at the impeller, and the newspaper is basically intact and not connected together.

This situation is generally due to the wear and tear of the newspaper cutter, which cannot grip the newspaper, causing the newspaper to be in a free state in advance when entering the impeller, and cannot accurately fall into the impeller. In addition, the failure of the torsion bar of the external reporting tool and the wear of the cam follower bearing may also lead to the failure of the clamping, resulting in paper stuffing at the impeller.

Solution: Replace the mouthpiece cutter. There is a warning sign of a malfunction at the tip of the newspaper cutter, such as the newspaper tilting left and right at the outlet, especially when the newspaper on a single paper path is uneven, wrinkling together in the opposite direction of the newspaper falling into the impeller. When replacing the gripper, be sure to keep the gripper level with the surface of the folding drum. If it is too high, it will collide with the stopper during folding, causing damage to the transverse fold of the finished product. If it is too low, it will reduce the contact area between the gripper and the gripper, making it prone to page throwing and other faults.
